Bug appeared after an update a few minutes ago. The attached list is everything I updated today cat'ed into a text file from pacman's cache.

My error message was line for line identical to the bug maker's save the kernel build, though it appears to be the same kernel version.

@Kevin

startup-notification is also listed in your updates. So I guess it is the same bug as I have pointed above.

That's right! Downgrading startup-notification to 0.10-2 'fixed' the bug.
