Description Dedeco Balaco 2023-04-22 05:01:13 UTC
This is Debian.

There are a few folders which do not exist anymore in one of the accounts i have configured in Claws Mail. I asked it to synchronise folders, and it never stops trying to check a folder that does not exist in that account anymore. It seems pretty strange. A folder existed. It had it in my folder list. It was deleted far from CM. I asked it to resync. And then:

1) It tries to do this for *all* my accounts, and I surely did not want this. Needless.

2) It stopped in a (currently) nonexisting folder. I even checked if it was just a case of a folder which i was just not subscribed to, in another mail manager. No. It really does not exist.

I could send the network log, for example. But i guess you do not want it in a language that is not english. Else, just tell me how i make it be just the part related to this account, and only to this problem. And in english too, if this is helps. If all are possible, better. Else, i let it be.

1) You need to use the Folder Properties option, 'Synchronise for offline use', turning this option on or off for the folders you want synchronised.

2) The simplest workaround at this stage is to right-click the top-level mailbox folder and use 'Rebuild folder tree'.

(In reply to Paul from comment #1)

You are not completely clear. Should i right click on the folder or on the account item, parent or its in the folders part?

1) Can i use the keyboard "menu" key? (it usually opens right click menu for focused things)

2) I think this is what i did. Is there any different detail?

I tried to do, but nothing worked.

In another path of solution, can you tell me if there is a way to delete some, or change something, in one or more files or directories, inside my user folder? I checked everything inside ~/.claws-mail, and i have a few ideas that can work. But they depend on something i do not know at all: how the folders are discovered and saved inside my user configuration cache? Deleting the cache should work? Changing a setting which says the cache is updated exists? Should both be done? Can the bug be avoided with an example of such kind of procedure?
