Description Isaac 2023-03-29 16:32:14 UTC
Currently, the OAuth system in Claws-Mail supports Yahoo, MS Outlook, MS Exchange, and GMail. However, it does not support AOL. From what I've gathered it's a similar mechanism to Yahoo, considering they're the same company at this point, but the address is different - api.login.aol.com. Alternative ways for signing into AOL are highly unreliable, with the App Password generator simply not working most of the time and the standard password + username failing every time I've tried. Therefore, for Claws to work with AOL, it may have to support OAuth2.

Hi Isaac,
I have no AOL account so it will be impossible for me to write the needed code to implement support for AOL but if you have and are able to write the needed code I would gladly commit your contribution.

Regards Michael
