Hi,

Claws version 3.17.8,

There are known issues with claws and cached emails + IMAP, along with the cache being, from time to time invalidated, and all emails needing to be rescanned/downloaded from time to time.

I just noticed an interesting issue. I had my inbox selected in Claws, and decided to write an email. While I was composing an email, the number of email messages in my Inbox (thousands), because replaced with the number in my Drafts folder (50).

At that point, claws invalidated my local inbox cache, and started to reindex all messages in my inbox. During the entire operation, until completion, it displayed 50/<current count> as it does in the bottom of the client.

Hoping to escape this situation, which can often take an hour, I exited claws and restarted. However it immediately started to re-index, still presuming I had 50 mails.
