Can't authenticate at google with claws-mail version 4.1.1. There is a 127.0.0.1:8888 in the requested url, and this cause an error. It still works perfectly with version 4.0.0.
Can you provide some error output? Run claws with the option --debug
When I click on "Obtain authorization code" the link generated looks like this: https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth?client_id=XXX.apps.googleusercontent.com&redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2F127.0.0.1%3A8888&response_type=code&scope=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com With version 4.0.0 the generated link is: https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth?client_id=XXX.apps.googleusercontent.com&redirect_uri=urn%3Aietf%3Awg%3Aoauth%3A2.0%3Aoob&response_type=code&scope=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com I don't where "http://120.0.0.1:8888" come from, but it causes an error.
Your bug indicates that you have registered claws-mail as client with http://localhost:8888 as redirect URL. Try register claws-mail again and remember to use http://120.0.0.1:8888 as redirect URL.
Apart from that is that the processed used under version 4.0.0 is not valid anymore so that would have failed anyhow.
