The mail catted and copied from a terminal screen

Hi, 
today I received a spam (malicious?) mail that froze claws gui.
I attach it here if it could be useful to preventing such freezes
in future.

The attached file, although certainly a very broken mail, does not cause a freeze here using GTK2 Claws Mail or GTK3 Claws Mail.

The problem very likely occurs in one of the dependent libraries.

Version 3.17.8 is an old version of Claws Mail, therefore I guess your dependent libraries are also out of date.

You should upgrade your system.

this is the version that debian/devuan stable ships.

claws-mail/stable,now 3.17.8-1+b1 amd64 [installed]
