Created attachment 2083 [details] Claws Mail viewer log file. New to Claws. Linux version: Manjaro/Arch (latest). When pressing Help -> Manual, viewer does not show the help manual. Window opens to convert HTML file located in /usr/share/doc/claws-mail to epub format, for the viewer.
There is no epub version of the manual created by Claws Mail, only html, ps, pdf, and txt. On /Configuration/Preferences/Message View/External Programs you probably have the 'Use system defaults when possible' checkbox checked. If this is the case, you need to modify your system default for handling text/html. You can see the default by using this command: xdg-mime query default text/html If you are not using 'system defaults when possible', then, on the same prefs page, you presumably have calibre configured as 'Web browser'. If you don't want to change your system defaults, then uncheck that checkbox, and configure 'Web browser' correctly. If your system really does have the file /usr/share/doc/claws-mail/manual/en/claws-mail-manual.epub then this must be a distro modification, and you should contact the distro packager of claws-mail to resolve your issue.
