Description Alexander Kurakin 2020-05-06 08:51:00 UTC
I have "EMAIL_ONE" and "EMAIL_TWO" email accounts in Claws.

I get calender-event-email addressed to "GROUP_EMAIL_THREE" group email. "EMAIL_TWO" is a part of "GROUP_EMAIL_THREE" group so I see this message in "EMAIL_TWO"'s messages list. Message's source code doesn't contain "EMAIL_ONE" and "EMAIL_TWO" emails inside.

After Claws Mail restart, I see in message:
    EMAIL_ONE (individual, did not answer)
Why?

Thanks!

Well, it's duplicate of the last comment only. And it's unanswered.

We didn't understand each other, maybe. This bug is about *original* message view. Bug #4328 is about *replying* on it.

First thing to note is that this is a bug tracker, not a support forum. If you want to ask questions then use either the users' mailing list or the IRC channel. Details here: https://www.claws-mail.org/MLs.php

I feel that your question is already answered. You said that you got "calender-event-email addressed to "GROUP_EMAIL_THREE" group email", and that you have two accounts "EMAIL_ONE" and "EMAIL_TWO".

Neither "EMAIL_ONE" or "EMAIL_TWO" are "GROUP_EMAIL_THREE", therefore "GROUP_EMAIL_THREE" matches none of your accounts. Therefore, see https://www.thewildbeast.co.uk/claws-mail/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4328#c2 and https://www.thewildbeast.co.uk/claws-mail/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4328#c8

Yes, and it's likely a bug (as opposed to a *another* issue in bug #4328). When I say "likely a bug" I base on your words in that issue, too.

I get a meeting message. And see an incorrect members list of this meeting.

Members list doesn't depend on my settings, does it?
Comment 6 Paul 2020-05-08 14:39:29 UTC
What is this "members list"? What is "GROUP_EMAIL_THREE"? What email addresses are in the To and Cc headers, and do they correspond to any of your accounts?

Thanks for reply!

Well in English version it's named as "Attendees" in vCalendar event message's view. After "Description:", before "Action:".

One more time.
(Let's change email addresses: I think "group"ness doesn't matter in this issue.)

1. "To" header == email@domain.com.
2. There is no other "To", "CC", etc. headers.
3. In "Attendees" list I have not only
      email@domain.com (individual, did not answer)
  but also:
      another@domain.com (individual, did not answer)
4. The second item:
      another@domain.com (individual, did not answer)
I see only if Claws Mail has been already restarted after message received.
5. Both email@domain.com and another@domain.com are Claws Mail accounts.

P.S.
6. I have a new idea now... And maybe that's why I'm wrong with my stubbornness...
6-a. There are three (not two) accounts in my Claws Mail now (recently). And the third email *isn't* displayed in "Attendees".
6-b. I've got an idea thinking about p. 6-a. We have not only receiver ("To"-family headers) but topic, also ("Thread-Index"-family header)! Maybe, this message and another@domain.com connected through topic?! For instance,
6-b-1. Another message of this topic had "To: another@domain.com" header.
    or
6-b-2. I replied to another message of this topic via "another@domain.com" account of Claws Mail.

P.P.S. Maybe this is an INVALID issue but I think I proved it's not a DUPLICATE of bug #4328 :)
