Accounts preferences window

Running Claws-Mail 3.17.4 on windows (but I don't think it's a windows specific bug)

The previous version of the bsfilter plugin didn't process messages on NNTP newsgroups (accounts), while the current version moves some messages from newsgroups to the spam folder, the plugin seems to ignore the "Allow filtering using external plugins" setting in the "Account Preferences -> Receive" section, plus the setting is disabled in the same section (and by the way, unckecked)

I think that either the setting should be enabled for NNTP accounts too and bsfilter should respect that setting or that bsfilter shouldn't process NNTP folders

FYI: "Allow filtering using external plugins" is greyed out because it is activated by the option above it, "Filter messages on receiving".

Please provide debug output which shows this happening.

For information on how to get the debug output, see this: https://www.claws-mail.org/faq/index.php/Claws_Mail_on_Windows

Ok, sounds like it may have been something in the configuration; (backed up and) wiped the claws-mail configuration (whole folder tree) and reinstalled claws, recreated the accounts and the issue didn't show anymore; it may have been due to some screwed setting so I think that the issue may be marked as closed
