Using the new LiteHTML plugin, I am getting visual issues with overlapping fields (text on top of text) from several senders, among them eBay.

I'm also getting an issue with PayPal where moving the mouse cursor onto the LiteHTML viewer will 'mark' the entire mail with a blue background with rounded corners. 64-bit version crashes at this point. 32-bit version keeps going, but has the visual issue as well as a sudden performance loss while scrolling.

Selecting the eMail but keeping the mouse cursor off the LiteHTML viewer results in proper colors and better scrolling behavior.

See the attached screenshot for both.

I'm afraid there's not much we can do regarding the badly laid out text. LiteHTML is not nearly as advanced as Webkit when it comes to (over)complicated HTML layouts, so you cannot expect pixel-perfect HTML rendering comparable to mainstream browsers (which have team of dozens of people working on the HTML engine).

You can try extracting the html part from the e-mail to a separate file and viewing it in Litebrowser[1], and if it displays incorrectly there as well, reporting it to the author of LiteHTML on github[2].

As for the crash and the weird blue color, if you could provide the example email - as an attachment here, or forwarded as attachment to ticho at claws-mail.org, I can have a look and hopefully fix at least the crash.

I've forwarded both these formatting issues to the litehtml github. Will send you the problem mail as attachment.

With version 4.2.0 64-bit I'm no longer getting these issues with LiteHTML.
