Created attachment 798 [details] GB18030 patch Charset GB18030 include all characters of GB2312 and GBK. Some email include Chinese characters in GB18030 but only declare the encoding of GB2312. This is very common in Chinese emails, even the ones sent from gmail composed in IE. I hacked a little to make GB18030 as fallback encoding for GB2312, GBK and X-GBK. The patch to updated claws-mail.pot and zh_CN.po also attached. Best regards.

Concerning the encoding problem, I see what you mean : we have the same problem with ISO-8859-1 and WINDOWS-1252 in western Europe. I'll adapt your patch a bit to handle GB18030 the same way... Concerning zh_CN.po, could you rather send the complete .po file to translations@thewildbeast.co.uk ? Line numbers change all the time and your patch doesn't apply anymore to CVS :) Thanks!
thanks Leory :) I will send the po to it.
