Sounds like an idea for a script that would take the input and create necessary account blocks in your accountrc file. naturally, if i add account name in the beginning, this will be imported to. (the name of email appearing on receivers inbox fo new emails from me) & not the name of my account in claws. & one more thing would be cool too: importing checking every minutes section too from csv, or do it automatically with the import feature, for 1min for each account. Yes if claws can handle scripts in silent mode that would be awesome )) (In reply to comment #3) > Yes if claws can handle scripts in silent mode that would be awesome )) A script outside of Claws Mail. I'm not saying we can't, I just think it would be an overkill. It's simple text parsing and writing out some lines to a plain text file, and a script to do that will take less effort and even be safer (text parsing in C is inherently unsafe). I see, but i wouldn't know with what to use that "script", if you could make it a win32 app, it would be amazing, or i can open it with java engine, why not. After a month, do you have an approximate delay for creating that tool ? No. This tool will only get created if someone feels motivated enough to create it. That is how open source software works. Since you seem to know coding in your replies but don't want to get involved but pretend it's feasible but it requires a person out of the blue who'll parse all bugs in the site & feel the strength to give a crap about my request & create it, it means, it will never be done. so i'm dumping claws-mail. |
