Hi,
The attachement flag is only shown when a mail was selected to read,
this makes it impossible to sort a folder to get only mails with attachements, because the state is lost on every restart of the program.

Not only when selecting a mail, but also when filtering (under certain conditions). This is by design, The state is also not lost on every restart.
