Description Plaque 2012-06-27 16:05:15 UTC
When switching from a folder to folder it leaves folder background highlight on the former folder in the tree, often smashes messages list mixing its content with what it had there before. The only thing refreshes good is message view: it refreshes each time a folder changes.

As soon as I redraw window content (I use awesome WM; used it when everything was okay, use the same build when it's all not okay with claws-mail) by forcing redraw or switching workplaces it gets redrawed okay, and if then I change folder, it comes again.

Because I'm with Claws Mail from Ubuntu repos and use 11.10, I suppose there was something buggy with last GTK usage changes; switching to Claws Mail 3.8.0cvs56 first without extra plugins did not change this behaviour.

It doesn't sound like a Claws bug.

Yes, may be. But where should dig I?

Also, Claws Mail says: GTK+ 2.24.6 / GLib 2.30.0.
Kernel 3.0, also.

At leat, please, tell me how should I tell Claws Mail to refresh folders tree view and folder content list view, and I'm done.
Comment 7 Plaque 2012-06-28 12:28:52 UTC
Well, looks like it's GTK3 handling GTK2 apps now, so I simply better leave gnome-settings-daemon running and forget about this bug.

  Thanks for assistance and patience!
