Since I've installed the latest version (3.7.8-8.7 x64_86) available to me through OpenSUSE my SMTP account fails to sent out an e-mail. Settings haven't changed, it just doesn't seem to be connecting. Pop-up message: An error happened during SMTP session. Use "Send queued messages" from the main window to retry. ==== Log entry: * Connecting to SMTP server: smtp.mysmtp.com ... *** Session timed out. You may be able to recover by increasing the timeout value in Preferences/Other/Miscellaneous.
If your settings haven't changed then something on the server must have changed.
No we haven't changed anything on our server. The SMTP account is supposed to use my credentials (for a POP3 account) for logging into the server to sent out the e-mail. Prior to getting the latest version this issue wasn't there.
I'm pretty sure, 99% certain (without checking), that nothing changed in Claws Mail with regard to this either. Try using the latest Claws Mail release, 3.7.8 is old and not supported.
Ok thanks.
