With Claws Mail 3.7.6 on Debian Squeeze (6), when an e-mail is opened (this occurs with both POP3 (MH folder) and IMAP4 accounts) and the mouse is over the Trash icon, the From address displayed will sometimes become underlined as well as Claws displaying a mailto: link at the bottom of the window. I have noticed this occur in both the Sent and Trash folders of MH and in various IMAP folders. For example, if there are at least two e-mails listed in the Sent or Trash/MH folders, this will not occur if the first e-mail in the list is displayed, but this will occur with the second and subsequent messages. (This bug is also present in Sylpheed 3.1.0beta2 that came with Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick) and has been separately reported to Ubuntu.)
This just occurred again but with only one e-mail in Sent/MH.
Never seen this. Can you attach, (or privately 'forward as attachment'), the email that triggers it?
I'm getting different behaviors with this now. When I originally reported the bug, I was using the XFCE desktop interface with Debian. I have since switched to LXDE and am now seeing a different behavior. Instead of the original problem as reported, mousing over the Trash icon (now using the LXDE desktop) will underline one of the Tags as listed in the headers. Also since then, I have installed Debian 6 on another desktop, this one has a different CPU and is using the Debian 486 kernel. So far, I am not seeing either behavior on this other machine, which is using LXDE exclusively. The system where the underlining is occurring in Claws, is using the Debian 686 kernel and it occurs with practically every e-mail. I can have one e-mail opened up and if I also mouse over the From names/addresses in the panel above it, that will also cause a tag to be underlined. I will e-mail you an image of the screen showing the mouse being on the Trash icon with one of the tags underlined.
