Hi, I just received from my company a S/MIME certificate to sign/encrypt my emails. So, I wanted to include it in claws-mail, via the S/MIME plugin. I installed all PGP plugins + S/MIME plugin. Then, I followed the how-to page: http://www.claws-mail.org/faq/index.php/S/MIME_howto I managed to get it work, and when I run a "gpgsm --list-secret-keys" in my linux console, I can see my secret key. PROBLEM: When I go to the menu Configuration > Preference [Account] > Plugins > GPG, all choices are unreachable (grey), I cannot select any key by default. And, of course, trying to sign/encrypt any email generates a failure. I noticed that if I create a GPG key (not using gpgsm but really _gpg_), and configure claws-mail Privacy system = PGP-MIME, then I can access the menu above, I can sign and encrypt (with my GPG key). I also noticed that, even if I cannot send any S/MIME signed/encrypted message, I could verify signatures from my colleagues (sent with Exchange)... don't know if it could help identifying the problem ??? My analysis : looks like claws-mail plugin GPG interface works for composing emails (sign/encrypt), but GPGSM interface does not... Any idea what should I do ? Thanks a lot P.S.: I'm running - Ubuntu 9.04 - claws-mail 3.7.2 - all claws plugins: 3.7.2-1jauntyubuntu2
Any suggestion on this one ? Thanks in advance...
Run it from terminal and see if it raises any error messages. Otherwise try with $ claws-mail --debug I assume you've loaded the GPG/Core too. isn't it?

Great ! As soon as package is released, I will update you on the result ! Thanks a lot for your reactivity...
Given the time passed I hope a package has been released, otherwise I'd think about switching distribution... :)
