Description Christopher Barry 2013-11-22 01:59:38 UTC
Description:

Being a former Oulook and Evo user, and upon using claws mail version 3.9.2 for a while, I can state that while all have their issues here and there, the verbage utilized in the claws product tagline is incorrect. According to Wiktionary <http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bite> bites could be meant to say sucks, and clearly it doesn't at all.

DEBUG output:
<http://www.claws-mail.org/img/sc-bar-right.png>

Problem:

If you say your product is going to do something, then it better do it.

Proposed solution:

Refactor tagline using appropriate verbage.

You're talking about Americanisms. Since none of the team are from North America this has always been considered a non-issue. Stretch the inference.

But even going to the 15th meaning of the word, there's testimony that it really does it completely, e.g.:

So at most, this is you opinion only.

OK, please ignore the compliment, and I'll make an effort to believe bites means something good.

Hehe, thanks for the laugh anyway :)
