I too would to see only folders containing unread messages, but this seems a complex way of doing it. What's wrong with a "Hide read folders" option, analogous to "Hide read messages"? One could always collapse the unread hierarchy or servers that one does not want to see in the way I described it. The benefit being that one could drag a message from 'folder a' (has unread messages) to 'folder c' (only read mail in this folder). I want to bring up this enhancement again because I recently switched from Gnus to Claws and this is nearly the only feature I'm missing. In Gnus, only folders (called "groups" there) are visible which contain unread or marked messages, and one can switch to the full list with a keystroke. As folders with unread or marked massages are the ones which are "interesting" for me, this is really a helpful feature. |
