The help page [1] states that number of feed items to keep for each feed is customisable, but I can find this neither in the user interface (Feed properties) nor in the configuration file (clawsrc under [rssyl]).

Did I overlook this setting, or was it removed at some point?

I find it a useful setting, at least for high-traffic lists that I need not keep track of always.

Thank you for the information.

I was not really precise, but there really is a bug.  Namely, the RSSyl plug-in does not function according to the documentation.  There are two reasonable ways to define this issue after establishing that this function is simply removed.  Either as a feature request or as a bug report of the mentioned webpage.

Moreover, in my opinion the help forum would have been useful in retrospect if I overlooked the configuration option.  Since the function was removed, there is an issue that could be solved.
