Description LI AR 2015-12-17 15:41:02 UTC
Hi,

I configured my account in both claws-mail and thunderbird.

Recently I've created a new directory in ThB. It does not appear in ClawsMail, even if I update the mail or restart the software.

Picture show directory from GMail & ClawsMail. Thb has clearly sent the IMAP commands to create everything necessary on the server, but ClawsMail does not get the new information.

Hi!

You probably just need to subscribe to the new folder, or rescan the folder tree (both can be done right-clicking on the root of the IMAP mailbox).

I already tried that: I went to "Inbox -> Subscriptions -> Subscribe -> Search" and I only got :
"This folder is already subscribed and has no unsubscribed subfolders."
Comment 4 LI AR 2015-12-21 10:27:01 UTC
Just found a work around: "Inbox -> Subscriptions -> Subscribe -> Search" and I ounchecked "Show only Subscribed folder". Then I re-checked it.

But I insist this is only a work around, it proves that there IS a folder that is either unsubscribed or subscribed but not shown...

So the "Inbox -> Subscriptions -> Subscribe -> Search" is indeed buggy since it missed it.

What is the 'search' in "Inbox -> Subscriptions -> Subscribe -> Search"? There is no 'search' in the Subscriptions menu entry.

Did you rescan the folder tree?
Ricght-click the top-level folder and click 'Rebuild folder tree'.
