I use tags a lot, so I need to search for tagged emails frequently. However, it's not just with tags, but sometimes from addresses and etc...

Having said that, it would be very nice to have a way to add custom search buttons to the main window (where Reply, All, Sender buttons are).

I thought in adding a 'Search Button', then fill with the search terms and the selected list of mailboxes to apply.

Another option would be closer to what evolution does. You can create virtual mailboxes that contains the result of searches. Thus, every time a new email arrives or is modified (i.e. tagged), this search virtual box is updated.

thanks

It should be possible to use the Python plugin to create toolbar buttons that populate/trigger the quicksearch.

As for virtual folders, that's a duplicate.
