Description alessandro.nazzani@plurimedia.it 2011-06-16 07:50:59 UTC
I'm not sure if this can be considered a Claws bug, but I didn't know where else to file it.

I'm on Fedora15 and I experience the following problem.

I recently switched to Gnome3 coming from F13, and the only thing I really DON'T like is the Alt-Tab behaviour, so I installed the alternate-tab extension.

When pressing Alt-Tab ONCE, it takes me (correctly) to the previously focused window BUT when CM is open I have to press Alt-Tab TWICE to get the same behaviour.

CM seems to be the ONLY app exhibiting this "feature": for any other app I tried so far (gnome or non-gnome) Alt-Tab works as expected.

I also mentioned this problem on IRC and user "flier" suggested it could be a gtk2 problem: so I tried installing audacious and Alt-Tab worked with no problem also for that app.

I really hope something can be done to fix this because I'm a heavy Alt-Tab user and, as it is, having CM open hinder usability to the point that I have to keep it closed. :(

Regards.

Alessandro

Today I installed a bunch of updates and the problem seems to be gone.

The update included:

claws-mail-3.7.9-2.fc15.i686 -> 3.7.9-4.fc15.i686
gtk2-2.24.4-1.fc15.i686 -> 2.24.4-2.fc15.i686

and many more.

Don't know what actually fixed it, but I'm glad it's solved now.

Hi,

It's probably a duplicate of #2396.
