Hello,

In our company we are using Windows 10 Pro (1803) with Claws-Mail x64 client. It crashes all by itself after some time (1 - 2 hours after launching). I don't have to do a single thing (not even a click) and it turns off just like that, and I have to launch it again.

I just updated it from v. 3.16.0 to 3.16.3 and after few days to 3.17.1. It remains the same, still crashes.

Does the 32-bit version crash as well?

I don't know. I didn't try it.

Few days ago I asked our admin to switch x64 version to x86, and guess what, problem stopped. 32 bit version works just fine.

So it seems this bug exists on x64 version only.

I have used both 32 & 64 bit versions of CM4Win, and they both crash
sporadically. Usually, it occurs with large or heavily formatted HTML
messages.

I was supplied with a Beta version of CM4Win that was compiled using newer
versions of cairo and pixman. While the stability has increased enormously,
it is still not truly stable yet. The debug output of the program shows
problems that the authors have not yet been able to correct.

In any case, I know that Andrej Kacian <ticho@claws-mail.org> has been
working tirelessly to correct the problems and I am certain that he will be
able to do so soon.
