type a long (a short one will not trigger the bug usually) message and save to the draft folder to re-edit later... start writing, when you hit the auto-save character number there is a very small pause, then it continues to write to flush the keyboard buffer, without writing the character that trigger the auto-save (or the next one, cant tell)... the cursor will then jump back to the place where the auto-save was trigger and it will place the last character typed before the auto-save was triggered ex: 1234567890 1234567890 1234567890 1234567880 it auto-saved in last 9 position and changed the 9 to 8 i can see the main windows status bar being update with something, something about setting the sumary (its too fast to read well), so i assume its setting the sumary info in the queue folder (is this really needed?, could speed up the auto-save) this verified in the lastest CVS version, but happens since the auto-save was implemented (AFAIK) this on a slow PC (486@160Mhz) so on a high speed computer may be hidden by the CPU power (if i type slow the computer can auto-save before i can type the next charather and so all is well) also the spell check is active but turning it off doesnt seens to help
