Add LDAP-Servers to your address book, then type a users name, <tab> -> wont work. You will have to search for the user using address book, then type a users name, <tab> -> opens list with names to select from. Only what was found searching the ldap is reported. What I'd awaited: having an ldap configured this is searched, regardless of having searched for names before within the ldap address book!

Maybe I am not interpreting this correctly; however, running claws-mail version 3.15.0 on a Win10 PRO - 64bit machine does not exhibit this problem. I might add that my OpenLDAP server is running a FreeBSD-11 machine connected to my network.
Maybe this problem depends on the number of users in your ldap database? We have ~1200 User within. How may are defined within your ldap database?
