This is an enhancement.

When double clicking on .eml file, open it in Message Window.

When double clicking on .mbox file, prompt user to where they want to extract the messages in that .mbox file into.

Updating associated URL, as this has also been reported as Debian bug #742125.

Very need this feature. Claws Mail have functionality to save message (File->Save email as), but doesn't have functionality to open saved message. Often we need to open saved message from backup.

Feature request #3503 needs to be implemented before this here can happen.

This is still relevant with Gtk3. Please change the product for the issue.

In the meantime, using your file manager you can drop any message file into one your MH mailbox directories, select that folder in claws-mail and view the message.
