Description Sebas 2013-05-28 13:52:30 UTC
Attachment remover is a very useful plugin, but IMO it lacks a feature, which is to leave a comment when the file is removed from the mail, so it is know for archiving purpose that there was a file attached.

It can also be useful for sent mails, so we know that a file was sent and which one, which is not the case actually after the plugin has done its job.

I propose a comment like this :

attacment deleted on <date, time>
name: <filename>, size: <filesize>, date: <timestamp>

(Note : Pegasus-mail has this very feature when we delete an attachment)

I strongly second this request, it is really a lacking information.

When I archive a message, I don't want to archive the attached filess as well, which are saved in backups. But I need to know that they were sent, for it is very often part integral of what the message is treating about.

That's why such a feature will be very welcome, an will enhance greatly the utility of this already very useful plugin.

Oooops, very, very sorry, I didn't realized I was replying to myself ! After 7 years I forgot I have made this very same request :-/

Anyway, it seems I'm the only one missing this feature :-)
