Description sergio 2008-02-28 16:56:05 UTC
when i choose search method "extended" and query "b something" or "B something"
claws downloads all mails in folder, downloads it, and then do search
instead of server-side search

Setting correct severity (http://www.thewildbeast.co.uk/claws-mail/bugzilla/page.cgi?id=fields.html#bug_severity)

Indeed, Claws Mail doesn't use server-side search. This is not implemented, implementing it would be an enhancement, the absense of the feature is not a *major* bug.

The Claws Mail developers would greatly appreciate that you respect our triaging of bugs and do not cancel our changes (not even explaining why only makes that worse).

Ah, my bad then, I reacted too fast :)

i don't think, that this is enhancement,
it impossible to do full-test search in folder with approximate 50k mails (300Mb)

Server side search for IMAP was recently implemented in CVS, so this should be closed after next release.
Comment 7 Colin Leroy 2012-11-07 12:38:15 UTC
We can even close it right now as it's in CVS :)
