None of the following options in the "Receiving" properties page do anything (blink led, play sound, or show info banner). There was another bug report specifically about the led (filled with unrelated conversations). This report includes the other options that don't seem to do anything.
Play sound works here, provided that sound volume is not muted and is hearable. Show info banner works here: it opens a small floating window to the up/right corner of the desktop, similar as the one you get when you start an application. The banner stays for a couple of seconds. Blink LED doesn't work here either.

Led support fixed in CVS. The rest works for me.
"Play sound" and "Show info banner" doesn't work for me. Is this a side effect of having the non-functional "Blink LED" option set?
Additional detail: Sound and banner don't work for IMAP connected mailboxes. They do for POP mailboxes.
That's normal for IMAP, it's not implemented...
