Unable to do anything after this message appears.  I ran 'claws-mail --debug' and got 19,163 output lines, the last 14 of which are:

At this point, the only action I seem to be able to take is to kill claws-mail.  I suspect the rest of the debug output won't be helpful, but it's available if needed.

By starting up offline and unloading bogofilter, I am able to continue, so I downgraded the severity (importance).

could you get a backtrace in gdb or valgrind ?

Not sure how I missed the request for a backtrace.  In any case, I'm happy to have it closed as the problem never reoccurred and was probably irreproducible.
