You can also try a friendly “Message/Receive/Cancel receiving” or, less friendly, just switch to off-line mode to break connections (see icon next to the account selector, down-right corner of main window). BTW, I don't see why subscribing the ML is worse than Bugzilla. Switching to off-line mode works! Thank you Ricardo! |
Created attachment 1350 [details] what I see I tried to get some help on -users mailing list, but it is impossible to ask without being subscribed (which is something I don't want to do), so I'll post here. ------8<----mail------- Hi Claws users, long time Claws Mail user reporting in (from Sylpheed-Claws times). I have one issue I was hoping to get some help for: I use IMAP a lot, and it is not a perfect protocol. Sometimes connections get stuck, or they take too much time. I can not tell Claws to abort and I have a frozen app like this: <see attached file> I can not quit either. The only thing I can do (and I do it a lot) is 'killall -9 claws-mail'. Is there something else I can do?
