Description Ray Kiddy 2014-03-13 22:35:13 UTC
I am at a coffee shop and went to send a message before I went through the web-page-based "authentication" which would allow me actual access to the network.

Claws said there was a problem sending and put up a dialog box. I have to admit, I did not read the dialog box. But I expected there would be a "Resend..." option somewhere in the menus and how hard would that be to find?

Either it is confusingly named or it does not exist. I am not finding it.

I see nothing in the Queue "folder" or the Drafts folder. Is the text of the e-mail I wrote just gone? That would be a data-loss bug, would it not?

If it is not gone, how does one get it to send? If there is UI for this, can it be made a bit more discoverable and obvious?

I see UI for "Send queued messages" directly under the "Message -> Receive" menu. Was my message supposed to have been queued?

I am on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Sorry that I cannot see the proper component for this issue. Will see where you all think it goes.

Darn it. Never mind. Pilot error. Claws left the message window open. I did not see that.

I have been using Mac OS X for a long time and am newly using Ubuntu as a desktop. I realy miss the "Bring All Windows to Front..." thing in Finder. There is nothing as easy to access in Ubuntu's UI.

So, closing as 'invalid'
