Could not get Claws mail to complete the account email setup.  I filled in all the required email server information, then on the last page I pressed "Save" and presto I was brought back to a new initial wizard window that wanted me to setup my email account all over again. 

When I first started the wizard I got a warning that Claws could not save any of my email addresses for the new user.   

Running on Windows 8.

Solution: Go to the executable in the program files folder and set its properties to run as an administrator. 

The administrator setting should have been done at installation.

Feel free to reopen this bug if this still happens with the latest release.

Setting to run the app as administrator should never be a solution, but rather a security risk.
