When I expand a thread near the bottom of the summary window, most of the
messages in that thread wind up off the bottom of the window, then I am forced
to scroll down to see the thread messages (Oh what pain! :-).

It would be nice if the scrolling happened automatically to display as much
of the threads as possible without scrolling the root of the tree off the
window in the other directory.

It would be nice to have.
But it should be possible to switch it off.
