Are you talking about the Mailbox location or the config dir where IMAP and NNTP caches are saved? For the first use /File/Add mailbox/MH... giving the full path to the new location. (You can even copy your existing Mail folder there before adding it) For the latter, you can use 'claws-mail --alternate-config-dir [dir]' BTW, --alternate-config-dir is available since version 3.1.0 Oh, ok! I will try that. (I recently asked Colin about this and he said the only way was to delete all of the Claws config files and reinitiate the setup wizard.) (In reply to comment #3) > Oh, ok! I will try that. (I recently asked Colin about this and he said the > only way was to delete all of the Claws config files and reinitiate the setup > wizard.) I'm guessing that that was before the new --alternate-config-dir was added. I'm reopening this bug, as it continues to be an issues. Example: My external SD card (where the Claws cache was stored) went bad and Claws was forevermore unable to open -- until I got a new card. There needs to be an easy way to change this for novice users. Platform is not supported anymore. |
